RFID proven for high-speed detection

Harting has joined forces with the University of Osnabriick in Germany to verify the ability of the company's RFID (radio-frequency identification) systems to detect objects moving at high speeds. The exercise is to determine how fast a vehicle can travel and still be reliably detected using RFID. This is relevant in the real-world, such as warehousing and railways.
