Rare women engineers

摘要

Women represent just 6 per cent of the engineering workforce, the lowest in Europe, according to the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Skill Survey. It also showed that only 1 per cent of parents were likely to encourage their daughters into engineering, compared with 11 per cent for parents of boys.
