YES expands UKAS testing to include radio devices

The Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (R&TTE) Directive, to which radio products must comply for sale in Europe, is being replaced by the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) in June 2016, which means manufacturers will be required to declare compliance with a changed set of regulations. York EMC Services (YES) has recently expanded its UKAS accreditation to add the testing of products containing a radio function.
