Doosan Power Systems' new post-combustion plant test facility at Renfrew has been opened by the Princess Royal. The facility is a component in what the company says is now the world's largest carbon capture research facility.rnThe facility simulates the entire process of modern coal-fired power generation. It will burn real coals and biomass, and includes a range of gas clean-up systems, before CO_2 capture takes place.
