Apprentice to give lowdown on training

EngineeringUK has appointed Chris Hinton, a 20-year-old engineering apprentice with BMW, to sit on its high level education and skills advisory panel and add a learner voice to proceedings.rnHinton, an electrical and electronic engineering apprentice at BMW's Hams Hall plant, will join the panel whose members include Dr Christine Braddock, principal and chief executive of Birmingham Metropolitan College, Professor Sir John Holman of the National STEM Programme, and Kate Bellingham, national STEM careers coordinator.
