Agilent offers platform boost

Agilent has announced Electromagnetic Professional 2011.07, the latest version of its simulation platform that creates 3D models and analyses the electrical performance of packages, connectors, antennas and other RF components. The EM Pro platform is integrated with Agilent's Advanced Design System software for RF and high-speed integrated circuits, modules and PC boards. EMPro 2011.07 has a new Eigenmode solver to find the resonant frequencies for cavity filters. Filter designers can also visualise electromagnetic fields at each resonant frequency and make adjustments to the cavity structure to optimise filter performance.
