Configuring different devices so that you can begin programming your system is often more time consuming than the function you're creating the application to perform in the first place. LabVIEW can span your entire hardware array and across multiple instrumentation types, ranging from data acquisition devices to field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). Creating a new robot starts with defining functionality using whiteboards and block diagrams. LabVIEW removes the need to abstract those into procedural code.
