Continuous monitoring by sensors that connect wirelessly creates vast amount of data, and cloud-based systems are well-placed to handle this. UK group Oninit is now offering a beta release of its cloud-based Pay Per Pulse service for companies to test and evaluate. Oninit says it has held a successful trial with a smart water pipeline monitoring company that demonstrated the solidity of the system in handling huge data input volumes.
