US: Health forum probes environmental causes of obesity

Diet, physical activity, underlying genetics and metabolism are factors known to be contributing to the obesity epidemic in the US, but a panel of government and academic scientists says that research is beginning to find something else might be playing a role: exposure to pollution and chemicals.
