Many teachers and commentators have used various visual images to portray disparities in the distribution of income in the United States-for example, a marching band that takes an hour to pass the viewing stand or the Eiffel Tower. This poster is an attempt to show the relationships of gender, household type, income, occupation, race/ethnicity, and wealth in a single graphic.
