There are no clear-cut views about technology but many Australians are uncomfortable with nuclear power and carbon trading, according to the 2008 National Technology and Society Monitor recently published by the Social Psychology Research Unit at Swinburne University.rnThe findings are based on a phone survey of 1000 people carried out last September. It asked people to state how comfortable they were with different technologies on a scale of 0 to 10. A score below 5 indicates discomfort, while a score above 5 means the person is comfortable.
