New facilities for Brisbane universities

Two of Brisbane's largest universities are expanding their science, technology and engineering capabilities with two new facilities under construction. At the University of Queensland, construction is currently under way on the $133 million Advanced Engineering Building (AEB), which will be six levels high and occupy 20,822m~2 of space. The building is being constructed on the site of the now-demolished Civil Engineering Laboratories, on the university's primary Brisbane campus.
