Carbon pricing and climate change are currently hot topics in parlia ment and the media. New reports on climate change science have been released, and Ross Garnaut has just launched his final paper proposing a plan for greenhouse gas reduction. The federal government is positioning itself to put a carbon pricing proposal to parliament, and political parties and industry groups are lining up their arguments. A lot has changed since the 2008 Garnaut Climate Change Review drew the attention of the Australian public to these issues, and if you have not read up on these issues lately it is time to take another look.
