The share of Australia's aid budget go-ing to technical assistance currently stands at about 40%. This is less than in previous years but still much higher than in most OECD countries, which typically spend around 20%, according to the Aid-Open Paper published by the Development Policy Centre at the Australian National University (devpolicy.org).
