New offerings at regional universities

A number of regional universities across Australia are offering engineering courses, scholarships and facilities to promote the pursuit of engineering studies in non-urban areas. At the University of Tasmania's Cradle Coast campus on the northwest side of the state, the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology is this year commencing an Associate Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), which will allow advanced diploma mechanical students to upgrade their professional qualifications on a part-time basis while working in the Cradle Coast region of Tasmania.
