Champions selected to sign charter

At a meeting on 10 May, chief executives and managing directors from Consult Australia member firms signed a charter to promote workplace gender equality. According to Consult Australia senior policy advisor Jonathan Russell, the Charter of the Consult Australia Champions of Change "commits the signatories to actively advance equality across their businesses and to act as advocates for the consulting industry". During this meeting they met with Amanda Lacaze from Chief Executive Women (CEW), an organisation consisting of around 270 Australian business women. According to CEW, it has a goal of "facilitating greater representation of women at senior levels of Australian business, government and not-for-profit sectors".
