Diversification of the TOP 100

This year we celebrate 10 years of publishing our Top 100 list of Australia's most influential engineers. It is also my first year in charge of compiling the list and so I felt it was timely to re-examine the selection process and the composition of the final list. I was keen to preserve the best elements of the Top 100 but also to introduce some new elements to ensure the ongoing relevance of the list. After considering the options, there are two main changes - a broadening of the selection criteria and a greater diversity in the categories we list.
