As head of the country's peak industry association, Willox sees a list of global trends continuing to impact Australia through 2016. Increasingly linked international markets, the gradual building up of developing nations' economies, prolonged volatility in China and resource intensive countries, low oil prices, a healthy level of supply in certain markets (including metals) and, of course, continued technological change, would all be relevant for manufacturing.
