Member networking day develops ideas for IIE's future

At a stimulating day facilitated by Cranfield University recently at Silverstone, ideas flew freely. Present for structured (but uninhibited) "brainstorming" workshops were a range of existing members, prospective members, lapsed members, non members, young members, employers and armed services representatives. Their challenge was to determine the scope of their ideal professional institution and its services and compare those with the current IIE. All present expressed enthusiasm at their involvement and ability to contribute to the Institution's future. Later in the day a group of Council members, including the RCC Chairman, Fred Davis, and the National SIGs Chairman, Robert Neighbour, met with the Cranfield facilitators and IIE staff members to examine the outcomes and determine how actions should be taken forward.
