Experimental investigation of embedded steel plates in reinforced concrete structures

摘要

An experimental investigation has been performed to study the behaviour of a typical embedded steel plate anchor assembly under common type of loading. Three full scale specimens were tested with vertical load (eccentric) and horizontal load, all acting in the same plane causing uni--axial moment on the embedded plate. Effects of variation of eccentricity in the application of primary ver- tical load were studied by subjecting the specimen to vertical loads at different eccentricities. Anchor strains, plate strains and plate deformations were observed and analyzed in order to know the behaviour of the system. Finally, the results of the experimental investigation have been compared with the currently adopted con- crete beam analogy method for designing such embedded plates.
