摘要

This paper describes a theoretical analysis of the effect of annular two phase flow upon the undamped natural frequencies of vibration of a pipe. The cases are considered where the fluids are flowing internally and externally with respect to the pipe. The pipe is simply-supported at both ends and modelled as a cylindrical shell using the Flugge model whilst the fluid 'is described by lin- earized potential theory. Some associated results are presented.
