摘要

In previous work by the second author and others, a framework for a reliability-based, performance--based seismic design pro- cedure was presented. That framework was based on static pushover analyses of two--dimensional models of building structures. In this paper, some preliminary observations and results are presented from a study in which the framework is extended to be used with three--dimensional analysis models to explicitly account for the torsional behavior of asymmetric building structures.
