The authors are glad to have the views of discussions on their paper and responses to the points made by the writer of the discussion are as follows: 1. Eqs. (25)-(30) by the writer follows naturally from Eqs. (16), (17) and (20) of the original paper @@[1]. Eq. (30) indicates that the derivative dpk/dXj correlates with ∂ΔPj/∂Xi(j=1,2,...,k-1) after the jth iteration. It also shows that the effect of uncertainty has propagated in the updated model with updated system parameters Pk = P_0 + ΔP_1 + ΔP_2 + • • • + ΔP_k-1. Eq. (30) has in fact been taken into account in the computation of propagation of uncertainty in the original paper @@[1]. Readers are referred to Ref. @@[2] for more details of the analysis method of uncertainty propagation.
