Comparison of Computational Structures in Positional and Nonpositional Number System

摘要

An approach is proposed to the comparison of computers operating in the positional number system(PNS)and those using nonpositional systems with a given value of probability of unfailing computer operation. An example is given of specific determination of fields of preferential application of computers in the positional number system and the system of residual classes.
