The state Dept. of Plan Distribution is planning to build a 72-bed skilled-care facility to serve primarily veterans and their eligible dependents. The facility will consist of four skilled-nursing households of nursing stations and dining areas, as well as a central area that includes a chapel, library, business offices, food service and supply rooms. The facility will be located on the campus of the Northern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled, in Chippewa Falls. The project is valued at $15.8 million.
