Based on credibility built as a 30-year ironworker with both field and management experience, O'Leary has parlayed her key role as general organizer for labor and diversity at the Ironworkers International to propel change that can prevent harassment and make jobsites receptive to a more diverse workforce-both in her union and broadly in the 14-craft building trades.
