At this point it is now possible to make a trial assembly of the top rail, inner rail, outer rail and bottom rails. As has been mentioned, the manufacture of weldments is not a precision art so plenty of clearance has been allowed for. Some thick washers will be required to take up undue side play in the joints. The hinge pins are simply M10 hexagon headed screws secured with 'Nyloc' nuts.
