The weekend of the 21st and 22nd May 2011 saw approximately 30 miniature traction engines come together for the fourth Miniature Vehicle Gathering held at the Echills Wood Railway located within Kingsbury Water Park near Tamworth. First held in May 2008 the event has been steadily growing and this year saw a number of new attendees from as far afield as Winchester. With models ranging from a 3 inch Wallis and Steevens Simplicity Roller to a couple of 6 inch models, an Allchin and a Burrell. Of particular interest was the presence of four 4.5 inch Foden Steam Lorries encompassing a Timber Tractor, a flatbed wagon, a 2-axle lorry and a 3-axle, 10-wheeled lorry.
