As I start what in terms of the magazine is the first round-up of a new year but actually being written in the first week of the final month of the old one, I must again thank the various clubs who send their newsletters, both printed and digital, into the office - on the evidence of the wide variety and style of the publications received it certainly is a thriving scene out there.Reading through the various journals it's good to see many clubs reporting a steady influx of new members - one of the first items to stand out this month and certainly worthy of praise is the effort being put in by the Southampton MES to attract new young members.
