摘要

Accurate predication of visous flows is currently achieved with a Navier Stokes however there are computationally demanding. Panel methods are very efficient in predicting invescid flow characteristics, however they are less accurate in regions of highly viscous flow. A method combining a panel method with a Navier Stoes solver has been developed. Hoever unlike other zonal procedures, the current method is a simple, non-iterative linking procedure. Significant time and memory savings were found when compared with the use of the CFX (Navier Stows) solver alone.
