Model school uses building modeling to achieve results

The Bridgeport PreK-8 Discovery Magnet School, an innovative new school in Connecticut, opened its doors for a first wave of students this past January. According to New Haven-based Svi-gals + Partners, the architect for the project, the school is themed around sciences, technology, and global education, offering a major advance for a city school seeking better student and teacher performance. It is located next to the city's Discovery Museum and across from Sacred Heart University.
