Multitool Training Unit: Company B Teaches a Wide Array of Engineer Skills

Atypical advanced individual training (AIT) company trains a single military occupational specialty (MOS). Company B, 169th Engineer Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, trains about 1,300 members of the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and the militaries of allied partners every year in a variety of diverse engineer skills. The company also has administrative control of the battalion headquarters and the Sapper Leader Course. This article provides a description of each MOS taught by Company B, some lessons learned, and initiatives that can aid in the U.S. Army credentialing effort.
