Sky Soldiers Provide Opposition Force for Exercise Trident Juncture

Soldiers from the 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion were among the U.S. Army's 173d Airborne Brigade paratroopers who joined North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) allies and partners from Spain, Denmark, Italy, and the United Kingdom for the month-long Exercise Trident Juncture from 19 October through 9 November 2015. Trident Juncture, which was the largest combined exercise of its kind, incorporated more than 33 countries and 36,000 participants, showcasing the interoperability and capabilities of NATO partners on a grand scale.
