Application of Superconducting Inductive Energy Accumulator For Equalizing of Schedule of Fluctuating Periodic Load

The given article considers the possibility of equalizing fluctuat- ing peak periodic load schedules by means of controlled super- conducting inductive energy accumulators. Calculation pro- gram has been elaborated; accumulator inductance, converter param- eters, converter control law. The program takes into account maneuver- able possibilities of the power system, adjusting possibilities of a con- verter, and superconducting properties of energy accumulator winding. The calculation is carried out for cases of sudden start-up, unlimited in Duration operation with the present periodic schedule, and sudden out- Age of fluctuating load.
