摘要

I was a bit confused by the recent article in Energy Engineering (Vol. 108, No. 1) by Dr. Richard Lynch about cellulose attic insulation (Case Report: Irritation and Clean-up Methods Following Insulation of Cellulose Attic Insulation in one NJ Home). The bulk of the article is devoted to methods used to verify that the excessive duct in the home did, indeed, come from the recently-installed cellulose attic insulation. What confused me was that no attempt seemed to be made in identifying how it got into the house, or what could be done to keep it out.
