摘要

The reforming of CH_4 with CO_2 was carried out over alumina-supported nickel catalysts with or without La_2O_3 or CeO_2 at 873K and 973K. Rare earth oxides promoted the activity of nickel catalysts 50% and 28% at 873K, 49% and 23% at 973K respectively for La_2O_3 and CeO_2. XRD result showed that rare earth oxides can inhibit the formation of NiAL_2O_4 which is inactive to the reforming of CH_4 and CO_2. XPS result indicated a small increase in the BE of the nickel 2p_(3/2) line at oxidation state because of the addition of La_2O_3 or CeO_2. It was observed by TEM that nickel particles entering rate was retarded by La_2O_3 or CeO_2.
