2011 JAN 12 - (VerticalNews.com) -- According to recent research from Shanghai,rnPeople's Republic of China, "Present work gave a new method for preparing poly [methyl(3,3,3-rntrifluoropropyl)siloxane] (PMTFPS) in the mixing chamber of a torque rheometer using sodiumrnsilanolate as initiator, and ethyl acetate (EA) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as promoters. Thernpromoting effect of EA in the anionic bulk polymerization of 1,3,5-tris(trifluoropropylmethyl)rncyclotrisiloxane (F-3) was investigated in comparison with DMSO, a common promoter."
