2011 MAR 9 - (VerticalNews.com) -- According to a study from Oulu, Finland, "Inrnthis paper we introduce a fabrication process for polymer rib waveguides that uses UV-imprintrnlithography. In the structure of an inverted-rib waveguide, the lower cladding of the waveguidernis patterned by UV-imprinting and the waveguiding layer is subsequently spin-coated."
