The Human-Computer Interface Explanation

摘要

In studying methodological constraint and the restrictiveness by which methodological rules are implemented, future investigators must factor in the quality of any human-computer interface that subjects use either directly in the experimental design or through the use of protocol analysis and subject debriefings. Due regard must be paid to the human- computer interface constraints present and how the user's task is supported. Using a tool with a configurable methodological constraint environment would allow methodological constraint to be studied without the validity threat posed by using different tools with different human-computer interfaces.
