The new look: a tough crowd offers tough love

I don't like the new format at all. Embedded Systems Programming went from looking like a technical journal to looking like a flashy trade rag with no real editorial content. I realize the articles are the same, but they've lost credibility in my eyes with the overlaid graphics, ad-copy-looking fonts and excess whitespace.
