China World Elevator Expo 2000

In December 1996, ELEVATOR WORLD reported on the first China World Elevator Expo (CWEE) held in Beijing in August of 1996. Since that year, the CWEE or China International Exhibition of Elevator Equipment and Technology has become one of the most significant events in the history of China's elevator and escalator industry. With the second CWEE held in Shanghai July of 1997 and the third in Beijing in November of 1998, the fourth CWEE was held again in Shanghai on June 26-29, 2000 - hence the first China World Elevator Expo in the new millennium and the new century.
