RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY FOR POP & JOE

The 31st Annual Pop Frohlinger/Joe Marchese Golf Outing was a touch and go affair for a while as the skies seemed to empty on the participants and the course, delaying the start by almost 90 minutes. The hardcore golfers persevered and for the most part managed to complete the 18-hole course before the next deluge. The Stonebridge Country Club in Smithtown, Long Island was the scene of the outing. The more than 116 golfers joined another 34 diners and numerous sponsors in the celebration. This annual benefit/golf outing honors Pop (Gene) Frohlinger, Sr. and Joe Marchese, with the proceeds donated to the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF).
