EESF Hosts Team Knowledge Competition at NAESA International

The Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF) departed from its traditional "Roast" fundraiser at the NAESA International Workshop, Wednesday evening, August 11 in Atlanta. EESF took a year to come up with this year's trivia theme "Team Knowledge Competition." The initials of the theme were a play on words with the major sponsor of the event, ThyssenKrupp Elevator. Thus, the creation of TK Competition with 60 attendees vying for trophies and hoping to declare themselves NAESA's trivia gurus. The proceeds from this year's event will provide materials for over 6,000 students. For the past five years, EESF has successfully roasted members of the industry, all the while raising money to fund the effort to educate more children with the Safe-T Rider program. An informal survey of the attendees last year demonstrated the group was ready for a change.
