A SUCCESSFUL 2005 FOR EESf

The Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF) had a successful 2005. The Foundation accomplished many of the goals which were set by the Board of Regents at its Annual Meeting in January. Over the course of the year, five new positions were added to the Board of Regents, which now has 15 positions. Three of those positions were filled at the 2005 Annual Meeting. The three at-large positions are held by the following: Richard E. Vinciquerra (AFD Industries), Jim Riegler (ThyssenKrupp Elevator) and Richard Gregory (Vertex Corp.). Doug Witham, the chairman of the Board of Regents, stated, "... it is our intention that by expanding the Board, we are affecting positive change within EESF."
