Schindler PORT Product Launch The Future is Now!

On September 3, Schindler Elevator Corp. launched a new product that company officials say will now make a fundamental shift in building design and management of elevator traffic flow possible. This groundbreaking technology brings the concept of customized applications to building environments. The Personal Occupant Requirement Terminal (PORT) was unveiled in New York City at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. The daylong event consisted of presentations of the new system by Schindler executives in conjunction with building tours and an evening networking event at the "Top of the Rock."
