Inclined Elevator on the Chifeng Bridge in Tianjin

Located in the central business district of downtown Tianjin, China, over the Haihe River, the Chifeng Bridge is one of the greatest interlinked flyover bridges used for motor vehicles. Designed by Tianjin Urban Construction Design Institute, the single bridge tower stands more than 64 meters over the river, with an inclination of 63°, holding up the roughly 130-meter-long bridge span via 20 steel wire cables, giving it the appearance of a giant sail mast from the distance.
