Elevator world staff couldn't make space for two of the most important individuals about whom we wrote last month - Jimmie Bryce, first president of the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC), and PaulrnJohn Kern, NAEC's first treasurer and volunteer executive director. It's just as well, for the latter deserves this whole space. His newsletters and embryonic educational lessons were the glue that held the several dozen elevator contractors together for the first few years.
