OTIS OPENS LEED PLANT IN CHONGQING

Otis has opened its new Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED~?) Gold standard plant in Chongqing. The facility has the capacity to manufacture more than 15,000 elevator units annually. This opening demonstrates Otis' customer-focused manufacturing strategy to follow the market and a pattern of continued growth and capital investments in key markets around the globe (ELEVATOR WORLD, October 2012).
