Interactive TV trials continue in the UK

Developed TV services could create a revolution in the home. Current and coming trials will show the possibility of commercial success. In September 1994, through the efforts of an industrial consortium, ten families in the Cambridge area were wired up for interactive TV. This enabled them to request films, documentaries, news, weather reports, home shopping and programme previews, via their TV sets.
