There has been a new generation of hackers who analyze low-power electronic signals emitted from a laptop or mobile phone, even when the devices are not connected to the Internet or Wi-Fi. The hacking could take place anywhere, even in places such as coffee shops. Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology are mow inestigating where information leaks(known as side-channel signals) originate,so they can help engineers develop prevention strategies.
